Aaliyah's debut album was one of the first cd's I ever got. I remember the day like it was yesterday when my dad took me to Loco's Record Store and let me pick out my cd. As soon as I got back home I was on the phone calling everyone and anyone who would listen because it had just been released that day! He also got me her last one that was released when I was in high school...it was kinda our thing. Those were the days.
Anywho, are you excited about this movie? Do you think they did I good job casting her as far as the similarities?

Ummm...I don't really know how exciting a movie about Aaliyah would be! I can't wait to see the outfit with the sports bra, baggy pants, bandana, and dark sunglasses though...back, back, forth, and forth. Lol.
